Where can I watch movies in English in Lausanne?

What do VO, VOST and E/f/d mean?
Cinemas in French-speaking Switzerland use a few short labels to tell you whether a film is dubbed or shown in its original language. They are worth knowing before you book.
- VO (version originale): the film runs in its original language, not dubbed. For a Hollywood release that means English.
- VOST (version originale sous-titrée): the original-language version, with subtitles added.
- E/f/d: English soundtrack with French (f) and German (d) subtitles.
If you want to hear the original English dialogue, VO, VOST and E/f/d are the labels to look for. Anything marked as a French version will be dubbed.
